Where is the serial number for my unit? What does it look like?

A: Your serial number is a string of numbers and letters unique to your unity located on the underside of your unit.

How do I clean my unit and how often does it need to be cleaned?

A: Like other coin sorters on the market, standard maintenance and cleaning of the unit are important and recommended to significantly prolonging the lifespan of the product. Cleaning the unit helps prevent issues that may lead to costly repairs. Dirty sensors can affect the overall performance of the Cassida's C100, which can lead to a variety of errors such as E1-E9 and EA codes (Please see user manual for code explainations). We at Cassida suggest performing weekly celaning on the unit to maintain top performance. What does this error mean?

A:
Error Code Cause Corrective Action
E1 - E8 A counting sensor may have collected dust, or is obscured by a foreign object.

Clean the counting sensor using a Cassida air duster and a CleanPro swab (see user manual section 3.1).

Inspect coin outlet openings for possible foreign material that may be present (rubber bands, paper, etc.).
E9 Run sensor does not detect rotation of the coin platter.

Clean the running sensor (see user manual section 3.1).

Inspect the interior of the machine for possible foreign material that may be preventing the coin platter from rotating.

If the error persists, contact Cassida Technical Support (see user manual section 3.3).
EA

1. Coins present in the hopper when the machineis turned on.

2. Defective coin sensor.

1. Press the "START/STOP" button to clear the error. Empty any coins in coin trays back into hopper.

2. If the error persists, contact Cassida Technical Support (see user manual section 3.3).

Does This unit keep count of coins added?

A:Yes, the C100 operates in ADD mode by default. In ADD mode, the coin count is added to the count from the previous batches. To start a new count, press the "C" button. This will reset the coin count size to zero.

Does this unit recognize coin value?

A:Yes, the C100 has designated chutes for each denomination of coin.

Does the C100 sort coins?

A:Yes, the C100 can sort coins into bins, or you can sort and wrap coin rolls using compatible coin tubes (not included).

Does the C200 wrap/roll coins?

A:Yes, the C100 can wrap/roll coins using compatible coin tubes (not included). You can also use just the coin bins to sort large amounts of coins.

Why does my unit jam?

A:Majority of jamming issues with the C100 happen with the Paddle Drive. Below we have attached a document that can be downloaded or viewed over the web to help you troubleshoot your machine's paddle drive: - Cassida C100 Paddle Drive Troubleshooting If the document attached fails to alleviate your machine's issue, please contact Cassida Technical Support and create a support ticket.

What does the 1-year warranty cover?

Right out of the box, it performed excellently. Within the initial $400 of coins, only two nickels were mistakenly sorted with the pennies. The remaining coins were accurately sorted and valued.

Great Performance, but Accessory Compatibility Warning

This coin counter was perfect for our needs, but it lacks an attachment for filling coin rolls. Nevertheless, I managed to catch about half of the coins by placing the roll under the dispenser. However, I must warn you that we got ripped off when we ordered the coin dispenser accessory from ACE Depot. My wife contacted the company three times to request a refund, but all she got were either sarcastic responses or promises. After waiting for months, I called twice and spoke to Chris, the owner. At first, he promised me a refund, but he failed to deliver. Then, I called again and gave him an ultimatum: refund our purchase or face the BBB. Eventually, we received a partial refund, but it was not the full amount. I strongly advise you to avoid Ace Depot as it is a complete ripoff.

I got this gadget to tally up my loose change savings, but the $10.00 to $30.00 counters I tried before were way off. This thing is way more than I need at home, though. The pics make it look like flimsy plastic, but I was blown away by how solid it is. I'm so impressed that I brought it to my retail job, where everyone's been using it. It's never gotten stuck or given an incorrect count. The display is big and easy to read, and the buttons are a cinch to use. It's a bit bigger than a toaster, so it takes up some counter space, but it's designed to use as little as possible.

it's a breeze. The process is super simple and straightforward. Just gather your coins and place them on a flat surface. Then take those coin and load them to C100. C100 will then automatically sort the coins for you based on their denomination and value. It's a great way to quickly organize your coin collection without having to spend hours doing it manually. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the C100's coin sorting feature.

Caddies for coins keep moving around

The cups for collecting coins come with magnets that don't hold up well when there are more than just a few coins inside. They keep slipping off, which is a hassle. The only way to keep them in place is to wrap a bungee cord around the entire thing. I don't usually return items that I've already used, otherwise, I would have returned this one.

I tried out the product once and didn't even finish counting my coins. The device isn't rotating correctly, and I thoroughly read the manual. I'm pretty upset, but maybe it was just a fluke. I plan to exchange it for a new one and update my review accordingly.

I bought the unit in April 2022, and it stopped functioning in October 2022. I tried emailing customer support, but they haven't responded yet. I dialed the 800 number, but had to leave a message. I hope they get back to me soon since the device comes with a 1-year warranty. I'm looking forward to receiving a new unit or a full refund!

I've been using this item for a few months now and it's been accurate and easy to use. Keep in mind that it doesn't sort half dollars or dollar coins, but they can be retrieved from the sorting area by opening the compartment in the back. I can't speak to its compatibility with other currencies, as I only use U.S. currency. Sometimes the trays can be a bit tricky to reinsert after removing coins, but overall I recommend this product. It's a great investment if you handle a lot of change.

It's annoying that I'll probably have to fix my deposit at the bank. Plus, I didn't even notice it doesn't have a $1 coin sorter when I bought it. It's really simple to operate, but if I could do it over, I wouldn't buy it again.
