Where is the serial number for my unit?
Serial number is a string of numbers and letters unique to your unit located underside of your unit.
How do I clean my unit and how often does it need to be cleaned?
In regards to performance or functionality, the Cassida TillTally does not require any sensor cleaning. To keep the unit in working order just make sure to recalibrate the unit as necessary (whenever you move the unit, factory reset the unit, a drastic change in temperature occurs, if the scale has been knocked over, or if the unit is not weighing properly).
What does this error mean?
Error Code | Cause | Solution |

A weight of more than 1 kg was placed on the scale. |
Remove the complete weight from the money scale and restart the weighing procedure using a smaller amount. |
REMOVE SOME BILLS OR THE CUP |
Too many paper bills were placed at one time on the scale during the paper currency counting procdure. |
Remove some of the bank notes and continue the weighing process. Never place more than 15 banknotes on the scale at once. On the TillTally Elite, over time you will be able to place up to 25 bank notes at one time, due to its dynamic weighing abilities. |
REMOVE SOME BILLS OR THE CUP |
The coin cup is on the scale and you want to count paper currency. |
Remove the coin cup from the scale and start the paper currency weighing procedure. |
OVERLOAD TOO MUCH WEIGHT | More than 1 kg was placed on the scale. | Remove all weight from the scale. |
ERROR COUNT AGAIN |
A button was pushed during the weighing procedure. |
The weighing procedure was cancelled. Remove all weight from the cup support hod and restart the weighing procedure. |
ERROR COUNT AGAIN |
More than one coin roll was removed within one step when counting coin rolls. The scale cannot identify the removed coin rolls. |
Remove the coin rolls from the cup support hod and restart the counting procedure. |
SUSPECT CHECK ROLL | A coin roll is not recognized. Roll may have too many or too few coins, may have tape on the wrapper, or it could be wet. | Remove the coin roll from the cup support hod. Examine the roll for issues with its packaging. Replace the roll onto the hod. If toll is not recognized, you'll need to break the roll down into the coin cup. Choose the denomination and count the coins in the roll. |
Does my unit detect counterfeit notes?
No, the TillTally does not detect counterfeit notes. It simply count cash and coin by weight.
Why is my unit counting notes incorrectly?
In many cases where the TillTally may not be giving an accurate count is due to calibration. Recalibrate your unit to see if that resolves the issue (for additional assistance with recalibration refer to section 2.2 of the TillTally user manual).
Your unit may also be in the wrong mode, or set to counting a different currency (refer to the section 3 of the TillTally user manual for additional troubleshooting information).
Does this unit keep count of bills added?
Yes, the TillTally has an Auto Add feature that allows the last total to be automatically added into a total sum after removing the amount from the scale. ON is the default setting. To change or configure AUTO ADD, press OK when AUTO ADD is shown in the SETUP menu. Press < or > to choose ON or OFF. Press OK to confirm your choice.
To continue with SETUP menus, press < or >.
To exit the AUTO ADD set up menu, press CLEAR.
If this function is activated, AUTO ADD will appear on the right side of the display followed by a check mark during the regular counting mode.
Does this unit recognize note value?
No, the TillTally does not recognize note value automatically. The TillTally has to be manually set to the the denomination you want counted and it will tally the number of bills as well as give the total value amount counted by weight.
Does this unit sort bills?
No, the TillTally does not sort bills, it only counts.
Can this unit count a mix stack of bills?
No, the TillTally is a bill counter that can be set to recognize a specific denomination.

Quick Start Guide
The TillTally must be calibrated before first usage, whenever it is reset to factory settings or when the scale is moved or bumped. To calibrate scale, use the included 500g weight.
