Why does my unit reject genuine bills?
A detector may fail a genuine bill for several reasons:
- Bill Condition: Worn, bent, torn, or crumpled bills may compromise anti-counterfeit features.
- Sensor Issues: Dirty or damaged sensors can impede detection.
- Improper Loading: Skewed orientation or alignment can cause genuine bills to fail.
- Calibration Errors: Incorrectly calibrated sensors or adverse operating conditions can lead to false positives.
To minimize errors, operate the unit away from direct sunlight and reduce interference. For frequent issues under normal conditions, contact Cassida Technical Support.
